He is {Still} Risen!

Yesterday we celebrated the most important day in the history of the universe: the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  I hope you all were truly filled with joy, because He is truly risen!  Isn’t that amazing?

The fantastic thing about the resurrection is that it is true every single day!  Jesus Christ lives!  We have reason to rejoice!  Have you already put away your celebration mood and trudged back into the daily grind?  Don’t!  The overwhelming truth that we celebrated and proclaimed with happiness yesterday is just as true today.  It didn’t go anywhere.  We serve a risen Savior who has conquered death!

Be encouraged, friends.  The resurrection wasn’t a one-and-done.  Jesus Christ lives today!  Live your lives in light of that precious truth.  Don’t let your soul sink.  Don’t let the joy disappear.  If you have to, start dressing up in bright colors each day to remind yourselves of the joy we have through new life that Christ has given through His victory won!  Post sticky notes around to remind you to praise God for His gift.  Break out the hymns of resurrection more than one day a year.  Share the Good News with others.
