Blog Tour for A Place to Belong: A Short Story Collection, by Anna Pustai + Guest Post

Hey y’all!  Today’s post is very different than anything I’ve ever done, and that’s because I’m part of the blog tour for Anna’s new book, A Place to Belong: A Short Story Collection!  Annie Writes is one of my favorite blogs, and I’m super excited to be a part of this tour.  Anna graciously agreed to write a guest post just for this blog post, so I’ll turn things over to her…

Hi There! I'm Anna, a blogger at Annie Writes, photographer, and author of now four books. It is a pleasure to write a guest post here at Grace Notes today! I have a very special announcement I can't wait to share with all of you.

In October my mom inspired me to put together a collection of short stories again. I think that I am growing to love writing short story collections...last December I wrote a Christmas-themed collection. I loved the idea, and decided to start working right away. As I began compiling these short stories, God gave me the idea to dedicate the book to my sister who would be having her surgery on November 28th...just a MONTH away from when I started really working on the book...

I continued working, and on November 17th, by God's grace, I was able to start the self-publishing process. Well, just three days later, I was found frustrated, and editing my cover again, and again, and ...again. I went through the process five times, frustrated each time, yet praying that I would learn a lesson even through the frustration. The very day before the cover was approved by the CreateSpace team, I prayed and fully surrendered the project to God, and prayed that HIS will would be done with the project....the very next day, the book was approved. God is so good!! May we always wait on His wonderful timing and fully surrender to Him.

I am so excited to announce that A Place to Belong: A Short Story Collection will be available on Amazon in the next few days (note: it is NOW available on Amazon!)...stay tuned for more updates at Annie Writes. For now, here are some extra, fun details!
